FAFO | A cup of getting your sh*t done
FAFO is the newest kid in town. Together with their friends of Concept store Filya, Denise and Nick opened the doors to their little coffee corner. This cozy place just a few stone throws away from The Hague Central station and perfect if you are looking for a relatively quiet place to get work done during the weekdays.
You can find FAFO in the back of the store. Decked out in plants, comfy seats, and corners and vintage furniture this place it comes straight out of design magazine. We are particular in love with the green wall and all the brass details that you find. The coffee-area is not that large, but with the natural light coming from the roof window, it still feels spacious. We visited during a weekday, so it was a bit quieter, but we can imagine that it is busier during weekends. We would be here even if we do not have to get sh*t done ;).
They do not have an extensive menu (big things comes in small packages right) and is changing once in a while. The coffee is one of those without any mumbo-jumbo. Also, it comes with the most delicious, healthy raw-bite to tease you a bit, which tasted like caramel candy. Co-owner Nick told me that they these bites made especially for FAFO. He is also the one that creates the menu, and with his Indonesian roots, he always tries to spice things up.
Next, to the Filya concept store, FAFO also sells a small selection of food-related gifts. Like Chef Diego’s ketchup or Naturally Granola or Matcha tea. These items are all handpicked by the owners. So, also the perfect place if you are looking for a gift for food-loving friends.

Summary FAFO is just a few minutes away from The Hague CS and it is perfect if you are looking for a relatively quiet place to get work done during the weekdays.
